HI, I'M ED

I'm a 28 year old transgender man with he/him pronouns!
I'm currently living in the southern bit of the United States. I speak English and can understand some German and Spanish. I've been writing for the past 17 years or so, both independently and in RP. I typically write male muses as that's what I'm most comfortable with, but I LOVE writing with female muses.

I do suffer from anxiety and have memory issues, so please don't take me forgetting to message / reply personally. Nothing against you it's just from time to time I forget to reply or track a thread properly and then completely forget about it, or I am too tired/worn out to get to things promptly and then...forget about it, as I do. It's fine to remind me if it's been a couple of weeks and you're still waiting for a response on something. I do try to get replies and such out within a week or so, depending on how good I'm feeling my muses.

Also please keep in mind that I tend to try and reply to new/fresh threads first so I can get them into my tracker right quick and don't lose them. Don't take this as disinterest in our threads, I'm just trying to keep my nuts together before I lose them!

A FEW SIMPLE RULES

1. THIS IS AN 18+ BLOG. Themes may include sex, violence, guns, gore, forced prostitution, drug use, and torture. If you cannot handle this, this blog is not for you. If you are under 18, this blog is definitely not for you. I don’t say this to be cruel, but I am a whole ass adult and I find it unsettling interacting with youngsters, especially with the themes sometimes present on my page. I obviously cannot police every single person that decides to follow or otherwise read my writing, but I do ask that you please respect my wishes in this regard.

Sometimes there are slurs, racism, abuse, and other uncomfortable topics on my blog. I do tag as much as possible and try to specifically tag triggering topics under the standard tw: (topic) tag and do my best to include a nsfw tag as a general trigger tag. That being said, I am human, and I do suffer a bit of a memory problem. I cannot censor and police what you read, if you follow me I am assuming you are aware that difficult and potentially triggering topics may arise from time to time.

If I ever forget to tag something, or if I am writing something triggering to you and you would like it tagged beyond my broad-spectrum NSFW tag: Never ever hesitate to contact me. I am by no means a judgemental person and I will happily work to accommodate additional trigger warning tags.

2. ON SHIPPING. I’m open for shipping but please respect the character. I am okay with poly ships and age differences. Platonic, unrequited, and hate too of course. If it seems like I have a ‘sudden’ ship (i.e, abruptly in an established relationship) - rest assured it’s been worked out between me and the other mun and we’re just casually tearing our own hearts out.


I’m not chill with incest ships. It’s just a hard no from me. Incest in character’s past history is something I can deal with - I just don’t want to be straight incest shipping, if that makes sense. This is more specific to my multi-muse, but ya feel?

Multi-Specific: Oliver is generally open to platonic, non-sexual ships with a few exceptions. Arkady is open for platonic friend-ships as he is single-ship only with Alex Newel @murkoffjanitor.

Side Note On Kinks: I’m uncomfortable writing anything involving puke, or poo (as in a certain video involving girls and cups) as a kink/fetish. Also extreme torture kinks can be a bit much for me. If you need that elaborated on, just DM me, I don’t think anyone wants to be reading about that just browsing a rule page.

3. SOMETIMES, I'M SLOW. Life and health happens and sometimes I’m a busy fellow. Sometimes I straight up forget (or lose) threads. Do not be surprised if I, after two weeks of not responding to that one thread, suddenly go “WAIT, DIDN’T I OWE YOU-”
I am a friendly dude though! Don’t be afraid to hit me up to plot or chat. I find it a lot easier to write with people I can actually talk to. I also really, really love headcanons. I will read headcanons about your OC’s childhood dog. I’m not kidding. I am absolutely horrible at breaking the ice and I’m a bit of a space cadet but I love meeting new folks and talking about all kinds of things!

4. NO REBLOG KARMA HERE. Wanna reblog that meme? Do it. Doitdoitdoitdoitdoit.

5. OC / CANON / CANON DIVERGENT / CROSSOVER FRIENDLY! I love ‘em all, and have no rules/regs regarding such things.

6. MUN IS NOT MUSE. This is a dead horse that’s been beaten to death but here ya go. Don’t bother with the anon hate, folks, it won’t get you anywhere. Unless you want some sweet, cursed memes. Also see Rule #1.

7. BRIEF NOTE ON FORMATTING / ICONS. I...don’t format. Not because small text is difficult for me to read, I am honest to god just too damn lazy to format (although I think it looks very nice). I have any issues in accommodating a formatting request on a per-thread basis, but extreme artistically formatted text tends to give me a headache attempting to do it with all the tweaking and nit-picking I end up stressing over.

I also don’t do icons beyond on very, very occasionally (this again pertains more to my multi). I’m not that fantastic at making them and I often forget I even have any to begin with. That being said, I absolutely do not mind icons in threads. I actually like them quite a bit, I’m just terrible at using them.

I tend to be more of a para-RP’r, but some short / single sentence threads are just fine too. Crack threads and dash commentary is also chill with me. My ‘amount’ of writing will vary by reply, so please don’t go expecting whole novellas every time. I would die. Not literally, but I would.
